About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to proactively generate new business, manage existing accounts, and work with our sales team to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Attending leisure trade shows, road shows, workshops, fam trips, community, and industry events.
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to attract leisure travelers, including individuals, families, and groups.
- Leveraging key relationships with luxury market accounts.
- Promoting the hotel through targeted sales calls, tradeshows, forums, workshops, and industry events.
- Preparing correspondence, internal booking reports, and sales presentations.
You will be responsible for maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients, building relationships with luxury clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored recommendations to enhance their experience.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in business development and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities and threats.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and professional development opportunities.
