Senior Conference Sales Manager for European Markets

As a key member of the Marriott International team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets within European markets. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in MICE sales, looking to take their career to the next level.

About the Role:

This dynamic position will see you working closely with the Director of Sales and Sales Team to develop new and existing business opportunities, while maintaining exceptional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve set revenue targets and grow market share within European markets.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted sales initiatives and networking events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of sales services and excellent customer experience.
  • Analyse sales performance data to inform sales strategies and optimise results.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Demonstrated success in MICE sales, with a strong understanding of conference and event management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and inform strategic decisions.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish also required. Other languages are an advantage.
