Global Sales Development Lead, European Markets

Job Description:
The Global Sales Development Lead, European Markets will lead a portfolio of affiliates (around 25-30 partners) at any given time in the European regions. This role requires strong discernment and the ability to drive value to the partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales process to enhance existing partnerships through upselling of product and services and sales optimization
- Build strong long-term strategic commercial relationships with partners formalized in enduring contractual agreements
- Navigate board-level management and understand the political pressures of a partner's organization to reach a positive outcome
- Diagnose known and unknown partner business needs and handle objections
- Rename contracts with partners to develop mutually beneficial deals for both Expedia and the partner
- Communicate effectively to form strong business relationships remotely via phone, Zoom, email; including fundamental presentation skills
Requirements:
- 3-5 years related validated experience
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish; any other European language is a plus
- Experience in Account Management/client servicing in a B2B environment
- Validated record of achievement on sales performance
- Available for up to 10% travel per year
