About Us:

Scope Group is a leading provider of independent credit ratings and research to institutional investors, banks, and other financial institutions. Our mission is to provide accurate and insightful credit risk assessments that enable our clients to make informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for:

  1. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the European market;
  2. Developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion;
  3. Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders;
  4. Collaborating with our research and analytical teams to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our clients;
  5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulations, and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and expansion;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with the credit rating industry and its regulatory framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in finance, economics, or a related field;
  • CFA charter or equivalent qualification;
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Norwegian/Swedish);
  • Experience working in the financial industry, particularly in credit ratings and research.

Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits package.
