Job Summary

Purpose of the Job

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, this role is responsible for developing new and existing business in line with set goals and targets within European markets.

Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in Europe.
2. Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities and develop action plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
3. Set and agree client listings, revenue targets, and action plans for The Palace Hotel, Madrid.
4. Establish and maintain effective relationships with key clients and travel partners to promote the hotel's services and facilities.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and familiarization trips to ensure the hotel meets Marriott International's standards and to promote the hotel to potential clients.

Requirements

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Key skills and qualifications include:

- Strong knowledge of the European market and a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of clients operating in this region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of €60,000 per annum, plus bonuses and benefits in line with Marriott International's policies and procedures.
