About the Role

The Senior Sales Director position is a unique opportunity to develop, define and drive Spain's sales strategy in one of Uber Eats' largest investment markets globally.

In this central role reporting into the Head of Sales, your primary focus will be to sign the best restaurant selection to the Uber Eats platform in your area and build a winning sales strategy, team and organization.

You will manage a team of 9 Inside Sales Representatives, guiding and supporting them to achieve strong sales results and excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build an optimal sales team to drive efficiencies, ownership and accountability.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of high-performing Inside Sales Teams to execute on inbound and outbound merchant acquisition or growth initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on coaching for a team to ensure they meet and exceed monthly target business goals.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.

This includes incubating new territory sellers to ramp to strong commercial productivity and overall business knowledge, and sharing feedback on individual performance with new hire managers.

Execution and Strategy
  • Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company goals.
  • Prepare sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements where needed.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around €70,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. This is a SIP plan, meaning compensation is directly tied to team targets.

Business Acumen

As a Senior Sales Director, you will understand the overall sales strategy that will sustain the leading position and drive the growth of Uber Eats, including densification, local favorites, and new categories.

You will utilize data from Salesforce and Sales Operations team, market, and industry knowledge to coach teams, share best practices and troubleshoot how to sell the Uber Eats products with integrity.

Customer Centricity

You will help design processes that solve issues at scale and improve the efficiency of our teams and the experience of our restaurant partners, whether it be sprint planning, leads prospecting, qualification, pitching, closing or onboarding.

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in a sales environment.
  • Solid skills in sales techniques and customer relationship management.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Successful experience in coaching and mentoring sales teams.
  • Experience in B2B sales, especially in technology or service-based industries.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning and sales analytics.
