Italian Sales Director for Commercial Expansion

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive the commercial growth of Sensorfact in Italy. As a Regional Sales Development Director, you will be responsible for leading a large sales development team and contributing to the expansion of our client portfolio and revenue.
About the RoleThis is a full-time permanent position based in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in direct outbound sales, team management, and lead generation. You will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a large sales development team, including team leads, to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives
- Actively engaging in cold calling efforts to set a standard for the team and demonstrate best practices
- Developing and hosting training sessions to enhance the skills of sales development representatives and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship
- Tracking team performance metrics and providing regular feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Fostering a high-energy environment that encourages team members to excel and exceed their goals
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in cold calling and lead generation, with at least 5 years of experience building and managing large, high-performing teams
- Experience using and optimizing CRMs (we use Hubspot) and other supporting sales software
- Exceptional coaching and training skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent
- Demonstrated experience managing large teams, including direct supervision of team leads
- Fluent Italian and near native/native English language skills
We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a dynamic work environment.
