Area Sales Manager for Activated Carbon Solutions

About the Role:
Norit Activated Carbon is seeking an experienced sales professional to manage sales in the South of Spain territory. This role will involve handling specialty or complex accounts and driving the sales of Norit products.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales territory and sell Norit products to generate target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base.
- Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results.
- Drive both current and future value for Norit by building a shared understanding of individual customer and overall portfolio profitability.
- Educate customers on new products and product enhancements, articulating and presenting product features and benefits.
- Identify new market opportunities and target builds; seek out competitive information.
- Establish and maintain processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of science.
- Previous experience with activated carbon, filtration and purification technologies, food additives, or water treatment is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in sales.
