About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Sales and Customer Management Specialist to join our team in Málaga, Spain. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to leverage their skills in cloud technologies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert guidance on Microsoft cloud solutions. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure seamless delivery of cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for customers, delivering a strong first impression and setting the foundation for long-term relationships.
- Quarterback sales from lead to purchase, leading the sales strategy, overcoming objections, and negotiating success.
- Engage with small and medium businesses across various industries to determine their needs and identify opportunities to fulfill their requirements with leading cloud technologies.
- Obsess over customers and prospects to deliver a world-class customer engagement experience.
- Secure customer wins for cloud by maximizing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborating with Solution Specialists and Partner Connection Managers.
- Position competitive offerings and solutions in the context of customer needs and experiences.
- Demonstrate verbally and in writing how customers can capture value and envision their future with Microsoft technologies.
- Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline by filtering them through different criteria.
- Meet and exceed targets for net-new revenue and sales pipeline; accurately forecast sales, pipeline, and usage for the products and solutions in scope.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma; a BA/4-year degree is preferred.
- 2-3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum 1 year of IT industry experience.
- Minimum 1 year of sales account management or customer management experience.
- Familiarity with modern sales techniques and tools.
- Experience working with or selling Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, or similar solutions is preferred.
- A self-starter with a track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals.
- Ability to work independently and drives own personal performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written, and verbal business communications skills.
- General knowledge of the IT industry.
