Malaysia Tourism Industry Sales Director

We are Talent Recruit, representing a leading B2B Travel Provider expanding their business to Malaysia. As part of their expansion plan, they seek a highly motivated Sales Director who is passionate about the tourism industry and eager to drive sales growth in Malaysia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the market for our client's B2B travel platform within Malaysia. This role involves building a strong agent network, recruiting and leading a high-performing sales team, and analyzing sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Kickstart B2B sales in the Malaysia market, starting with Kuala Lumpur, and then expanding to the entire country
- Develop and implement a strategy to grow the agent base and achieve revenue targets
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Drive market penetration and enhance brand visibility in Malaysia
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
This is a remote role that may require occasional travel within Malaysia for business purposes. The ideal candidate should have at least 8+ years of sales/business development experience in the travel or FMCG industry.
