Business Development Manager Spain

Rijk Zwaan Ibérica, Sa is a leading global player in the development and trading of vegetable varieties. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Spain. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth and development, fostering strong relationships with clients and dealers, and providing expert advice on our products and modern technologies.
About the Role:
- To support and develop clients and dealers in Spain, building long-term and trusting relationships at a management, tactical, and operational level.
- To provide professional advice and consult customers on Rijk Zwaan products and modern technologies.
- To track market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- To work closely with our CRM system to accurately forecast sales forecasts and results.
Responsibilities:
- To define the strategy for clients, including identifying potential growth opportunities and creating concrete client plans.
- To lead client activities, including being the first point of contact and introducing specialists as needed.
- To be accountable for results, including identifying sales opportunities and reporting activities of the competition.
- To use RZ systems and tooling for effective international collaboration, including CRM and timely sales forecasting.
- To maintain excellent communication with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- To be based in Almería and committed to delivering a high service level and upholding the ethics of the company.
- To have a commercial and client-focused approach, with good analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
- To be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to keep track of the latest developments in the horticultural industry.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
