Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Crop Sciences Regional Business Development Director to lead our sales and development activities in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify existing and future market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
  • Lead a team of Business Development Managers to drive growth and revenue expansion
  • Attend industry events to promote SGS services and build relationships with key customers
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to create publicity materials and leverage global media tools for internal and external communications
  • Project manage new and existing clients to deliver customized services and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement business development programs to drive growth and revenue expansion
  • Standardize commercial approaches to Key Accounts and provide fast reaction and availability as required

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Crop Sciences, Consultancy or TIC Industry Commercial Roles
  • Educated to Degree or Master level
  • Proven track record in commercial and sales development
  • High reputation as a collaborator with Senior Industry Players
  • Industry Expertise and Vision
  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills
  • High Level English Language required (French, German or Spanish highly beneficial)

Estimated Salary: €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement plan, and generous paid time off. We also offer opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
