Leading European sales and business development activity for Crop Sciences. Identifying existing and future market activities and identifying all sector customers and potential customers.
Main Responsibilities:
• Leading European GLP and GEP Business Development Managers
• Attending industry events to promote the services of SGS
• Actively promoting the image capability and integrity of the company to Product-line Customers
• Working with NR Marketing Manager to produce publicity materials and distribute regular internal and external news
• Searching for additional opportunities and offering increased services to existing/new clients
Key Objectives:
• To find new business and increase revenue activity for this sector
• Continuously striving to find new and improve ways of delivering service to the Regional Customer base
Leadership Role
Project managing new and existing clients that require improved or customized services
Working closely with Crop Science Country Business Managers to provide consistent delivery of services across the product lines and regions
Collaborating with International Sales / Business Development Managers to provide one Customer facing Global Team approaching the markets
Qualifications:
More than 10 years' experience in Crop Sciences / Consultancy / TIC Industry Commercial Roles
Educated to Degree, Master Level
Proven track record on commercial and sales development
High reputation as a collaborator with Senior Industry Players
Required Skills:
Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills required
High Level English Language required
French, German or Spanish highly beneficial
Ability to work in a demanding high stress environment
Ability to Inspire people Internal and External to SGS
Ability to make long term business relationships
High Level Communicator and negotiator
Natural ability to close deals and take tough decisions
Salary Estimate:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience and location.
