Global Business Expansion Manager

At Recruit4Work, we are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in Germany. With a strong background in sales and business development, you will be instrumental in driving growth and expansion within our retail business.
Job Overview
We are looking for a results-driven professional with excellent communication skills in both German and English. Your target markets will include garden centers, DIY stores, and larger national accounts, including buying groups.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Engage with existing customers and leads to drive sales in both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce settings.
- Lead Generation: Prospect and develop new leads by attending trade shows, participating in trade associations, and collaborating with the marketing team.
- Relationship Management: Expand relationships with current accounts and leads.
- Performance Metrics: Set and regularly evaluate KPIs and sales targets to measure growth and performance.
- Market Analysis: Understand and analyze the competitive landscape of our product ranges.
- Reporting: Provide monthly progress reports and self-evaluations to the team leader.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, ideally within the garden, landscape, or design industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the German market and a deep understanding of local business practices and culture.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
Earnings: The estimated salary range for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
