Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to expand sales opportunities.

Establish clear expectations for customers and properties throughout the sales process.

Conduct daily sales activities to achieve department goals, ensuring business booked is within hotel parameters.

Respond to incoming group/catering opportunities and refer them to appropriate sales associates if necessary.

Follow up on opportunities uncovered by other sales channels and use negotiating skills to close on business.

Leverage sales resources and administrative/support staff to achieve personal and team goals.

Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals and contracts.

Transfer accurate and timely information to properties in accordance with brand standards.

Understand market trends and target customer information to maximize revenue.

Provide exceptional customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Resolve guest issues that arise from the sales process and bring them to the attention of leadership as necessary.

Utilize intranet resources and complete property site inspections to learn unique selling points.

Attend and complete training courses to learn sales business processes and systems.
