Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Industry Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to international travelers and accommodation suppliers.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the link between international travelers and global accommodation suppliers, ensuring outstanding customer service and timely issue resolution. You will listen to and understand the needs of customers, provide multi-channel support via phone, email, and chat, and respond to and mediate between travelers and accommodation providers to resolve issues related to payments, services, and technical requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Listen to and understand the needs of international travelers and accommodation suppliers
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, and chat, following set procedures to resolve inquiries
  • Respond to and mediate between travelers and accommodation providers to resolve issues related to payments, services, and technical requirements
  • Clarify service details and offer clear, accurate information on processes and requirements
  • Follow established workflows and escalation processes to ensure timely and effective problem resolution
  • Ensure a positive experience for customers, offering empathetic, friendly, and effective support

Requirements

  • Native or proficient Icelandic (C2) and advanced English (both written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or contact center environment is highly valued
  • Able to handle customer challenges with a solution-driven and positive approach
  • Proficiency with Office 365, CRM databases, and internal platforms
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business processes
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to build rapport with diverse international customers

Estimated Salary: €22,244 + up to 12% bonuses, approximately €24,900 per year.
