About the Role:

As a Business Development Associate in our European markets, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate clients. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to sell new products and services, establish strong relationships with clients, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and negotiate renewals for our book-rated portfolio by executing an annual renewal strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients through regular communication via email or telephone.
  • Lead day-to-day inquiries for assigned portfolio, working with internal stakeholders to resolve within agreed timelines.
  • Gather and analyze claims data.
  • Database Management, ensuring all relevant details are recorded accurately.
  • Facilitate the renewal process in conjunction with the Client Management team.
  • Participate in client visits to the European Service Centre and occasionally attend Client Meetings.

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with business clients (B2B).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced level of English and native fluency in French (Dutch language capabilities are a plus).
  • Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Action-oriented problem-solving skills/process improvement.
  • Strong communication skills: demonstrating drive and enthusiasm.
  • Customer Centricity.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of approximately €40,000 - €55,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home three days a week and in our Madrid office two days a week.
  • Flexible starting hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 18:15 or 8:00 to 17:00, and Friday 9:00 to 14:45 or 8:00 to 14:45.
