About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Account Manager to join our sales team at RS Group plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of accounts, developing and executing plans to grow revenue, expand customer relationships, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of sales strategies, progress, and results.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and account growth, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and developing customer relationships.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
