Position Overview

As a Senior Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships and secure new business opportunities with online brands and retailers, particularly within the DACH region. We provide a diverse array of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions designed to enhance the online presence and sales of brands and retailers across multiple channels, including leading marketplaces like Amazon and Zalando, as well as digital marketing and social media platforms such as Google and Instagram. You will oversee the sales process from inception to completion, which includes prospecting, building relationships with key decision-makers, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and finalizing deals. This role is ideal for a seasoned closer who thrives in a strategic, consultative sales environment.

The Senior Account Executive will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Director to ensure that revenue forecasts and customer acquisition objectives are achieved or surpassed on a quarterly basis. Exceptional performance is rewarded generously, as our compensation structure is uncapped.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales initiatives, broaden the customer base, and generate new revenue from both new leads and existing clients, focusing on SMB clients with revenues up to $50 million.
  • Develop a self-sourced pipeline to continuously enhance the business portfolio.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with potential clients.
  • Lead in-person client presentations, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proposal discussions.
  • Engage with prospects to identify their unique challenges and create compelling business cases to address their needs, while providing insightful feedback to marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Utilize Salesforce data to construct, forecast, and manage your sales activities, driving pipeline growth to meet revenue targets and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams, offering frontline feedback to influence future product developments.
  • Work closely with your Manager to contribute to business growth and align revenue strategies with overall company goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Experience in eCommerce, AdTech/Digital marketing, or MarTech SaaS sales, specifically targeting brands and retailers.
  • Proven track record in selling complex SaaS solutions with sales cycles of at least 3 months and average order values of at least £30k.
  • Ability to identify prospects, generate leads independently, and build a robust pipeline.
  • Proficient in providing accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills in a growth-oriented environment.
