Account Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Protection Specialist to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our fraud management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential risks to our customers and the company.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize advanced fraud management techniques and tools to review existing accounts and identify potential fraudulent activity.
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather data to determine the appropriate course of action to minimize potential losses.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and negotiating positive outcomes for both customers and American Express.
- Support colleagues in other European markets during out-of-hours servicing.
- Investigate allegations of fraud, counsel victims, and perform identity restoration duties.
- Ensure compliance with company regulations and standards in each country, region, and market.
- Manage sensitive customer information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Meet and exceed quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets.
- Fluent in German (English and Spanish are a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in a business environment.
- Demonstrate personal excellence and resilience in challenging situations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
