About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Protection Specialist to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our fraud management team, you'll play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential fraudulent activity, ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced fraud management techniques and tools to review existing consumer and business accounts, identifying potential fraudulent activity and minimizing potential loss to American Express.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers, maintaining a professional working relationship and delivering world-class customer service.
  • Support colleagues from other European markets during out-of-hours servicing, ensuring seamless coverage and exceptional customer experience.
  • Investigate allegations of fraud, counseling fraud victims and potential victims, and performing identity restoration duties and victim case management.
  • Identify and mitigate potential fraudulent activities, ensuring compliance with company regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Fluent in German (English and Spanish are a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in a business environment
  • Ability to remain positive and calm in difficult situations, with a passion for delivering outstanding service to customers
