About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Protection Specialist to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our fraud management team, you'll play a critical role in identifying and mitigating potential fraudulent activity, ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced fraud management techniques and tools to review existing accounts and identify potential fraudulent activity.
  • Investigate allegations of fraud, providing expert guidance and support to customers while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize potential losses to American Express, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive process improvements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complex issues and delivering tailored solutions to meet customers' needs.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role or contact center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
