Company Overview: Our client is a leading British board game manufacturer focused on long-term success. They aim to grow their business globally by expanding into new markets and retailers.
">About the Role: We are seeking a Dutch-speaking New Business Developer in Barcelona, Spain to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for finding and establishing new business relationships with retailers, promoting our products, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- To grow sales volume through identifying and approaching new potential business partners and setting up quality new outlets.
- Ensure that business requirements are met and matched to our services and products offered.
- Develop a promotion plan together with the client using a combination of promotional tools/resources to ensure customer sales begin to build as soon as they receive merchandise.
- Effectively transition the client to the account management team.
Key Requirements:
- Native-level or C2 Dutch + Fluent business English.
- Good Commercial awareness.
- Great Communication & Listening skills.
- Able to influence others to their point of view.
- Able to tailor solutions based on customers' needs and wants.
- A desire to be always learning.
- Mentally/Emotionally resilient.
- Ability to create a plan to deliver great results.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of small retail businesses, Strong Sales or influencing skills, Good understanding of the sales region.
What We Expect:
- Prior experience in new business development.
- Prior experience in sales.
- Working in a team environment.
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
