Defaqto is a leading FINTECH organisation with a strong brand reputation and exciting growth plans. We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our provider team, focusing on retail banking.

About the Role

This is a commercial position that involves working closely with large retail banks in the UK. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be part of a well-established team responsible for managing the commercial relationship between Defaqto and retail banks.

Your primary objectives will be to drive new sales, maximise revenue from existing clients, and manage a portfolio of client relationships. You will need to develop strong working relationships with clients and regularly travel to their offices to promote Defaqto's expertise and insight.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven success in selling software as a service and subscription-based sales.
  • A thorough understanding of retail banking products and their distribution in the UK.
  • The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of how intelligence-led decision making drives better outcomes.

You must also possess a valid UK driving license and be comfortable traveling with overnight stays. Regular monthly meetings will take place at our Defaqto offices in Haddenham, involving an overnight stay.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including remote work options.
