Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Strategist to join our team in Madrid. As a Key Account Strategist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our most strategic customers, driving customer success and growth through effective account management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Professional Services, and Solutions Architects, to develop and execute strategies that meet our customers' evolving needs. Your technical expertise and ability to navigate complex technical concepts will enable you to communicate effectively with our customers and internal stakeholders. With a strong focus on delivering value to our customers, you will identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Key Account Strategist, you will need:
• 9+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, or a similar role
• 6+ years of experience working within or supporting large enterprises
• A background and passion for advocating on behalf of your customers, acting as an extension of their team
• A mind for technology, with the ability to learn about MongoDB and databases
• The ability to act with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of customer portfolios and making key decisions to drive effective customer outcomes
• Demonstrated experience building relationships and delivering value to technical decision-makers, economic buyers, and executives (CTO, CIO)
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to deviate from established procedure and build new processes or practices to serve customers
• Team player and passion for collaboration, aligning closely with Sales, Professional Services, Tech Services, and the broader MDB ecosystem
• Technical product experience or education, software development experience preferred, certifications preferred
About the Role:
