The Role

The role of Commercial Controller presents a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the strategic growth and operational efficiency of our fashion company. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Develop and meticulously monitor the purchasing budget for each Business Unit and category. Conduct in-depth analyses of margins and suppliers to optimize costs effectively.
  • Sales/Purchase Planning: Demand Planning, responsible for forecasting and managing inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time, balancing supply and demand. Plan sales and purchases with a keen consideration of prices, quantities, and product alignment with the brand. Implement strategies to ensure the smooth integration of purchasing plans with overall business goals.
  • Variable Tracking and Analysis: Track and analyze variables across various dimensions, including stores, countries, models, and product lines. Utilize analytical insights to drive informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
  • KPI Development and Monitoring: Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to the Business Unit. Establish benchmarks and performance metrics to evaluate and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster constant interaction with key members of the Business Unit, providing proactive financial and operational guidance. Collaborate on cross-functional projects within the commercial management department to ensure cohesive operations.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Business
  • Possess a minimum of 4/5 years of experience in roles such as Business Controller, Financial Controller, or Senior Auditor, including experience in a Big 4 consultancy
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills for the effective management of sales budgets
  • Exhibit strong planning and negotiation abilities to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints
  • Good command of English and Spanish
  • Showcase advanced proficiency in Excel and Looker BI for comprehensive data analysis
