We are currently hiring for an Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program position.
As a sales professional, you will have the opportunity to help build America's skyline and your own future with White Cap, North America's leading distributor for professional contractors.
Our Accelerated Sales Program is designed for sales professionals outside our industry to quickly accelerate their sales career.

The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers.
Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales.
Key responsibilities of the Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program include:
- Participating in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
- Preparing and executing account plans.
- Selling White Cap's value proposition and products.
- Learning about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
- Entering and processing customer orders.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members.
- Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
- Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
- Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
- Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
- Spanish language proficiency.
