Overview
The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the execution and daily administration of initiatives related to the School's undergraduate offerings. This position serves as the primary liaison among students, faculty, and various departments within IE, ensuring effective coordination of diverse tasks and program elements. Responsibilities include managing communication pathways, implementing institutional policies, facilitating program logistics, and supporting faculty to deliver an exceptional educational experience for students.
This role reports to the Associate Directors and may involve supervising Program Assistants as necessary. Interaction with faculty, students, and various IE departments, as well as external partners, is integral to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement
Conduct regular meetings with students to address concerns, provide guidance, and offer support with a professional and empathetic approach. Collaborate with class representatives to enhance student representation and feedback. Assist students experiencing academic challenges or other program-related issues. Manage all forms of communication with students, including written updates, presentations, and information sessions. Utilize student feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing their overall experience.Faculty and Department Collaboration
Communicate with faculty regarding specific student situations, gather feedback, ensure timely submission of academic materials, and provide ongoing support to teaching staff. Work alongside various IE departments, such as Admissions, Marketing, Student Services, and others, to foster a seamless student experience.Professional Development
Assist Associate Directors in the coordination and implementation of innovative curricular and extracurricular initiatives. Supervise and guide Program Assistants with professionalism and maturity. Take ownership of specific program components, initiatives, and projects. Maintain and enhance academic resources and materials for both students and faculty.Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory. Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and oral) is essential, with significant professional experience in both languages. A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required. Candidates must possess a valid EU work permit. International experience is highly desirable. Strong project management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer management abilities, capacity to work under pressure, and a high level of accountability. Experience in environments with multiple stakeholders, along with outstanding communication skills and a strong customer focus, is crucial. Experience in global management education or collaboration with business schools is an advantage.Additional Information
