Overview

The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the execution and daily oversight of initiatives related to the School's undergraduate offerings. This position serves as the primary liaison among students, faculty, and various departments within IE, ensuring seamless coordination of diverse tasks and program elements. Responsibilities include managing communication channels, implementing institutional policies, and facilitating logistical operations to support faculty and enhance the educational experience for students.

Reports directly to the Associate Directors and may oversee Program Assistants as necessary, interacting with faculty, students, and external partners essential for program operations.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement

Conduct regular meetings with students to address concerns, provide guidance, and offer empathetic support in a professional manner. Collaborate with class representatives to co-manage student relationships alongside team members. Assist students encountering academic challenges or other program-related issues. Oversee all forms of communication with students, including written updates, presentations, and information sessions. Utilize student feedback to identify and implement enhancements to their overall experience.

Faculty and Department Collaboration

Act as a liaison with faculty to discuss specific student situations, gather feedback, and ensure timely submission of academic materials. Work in partnership with various IE departments—such as Admissions, Marketing, Student Services, and others—to foster a successful student journey.

Internal Development and Oversight

Support the Associate Directors in the planning and execution of new curricular and extracurricular initiatives. Supervise and guide Program Assistants with professionalism and maturity. Take charge of specific program components, initiatives, and projects as assigned. Maintain and update academic resources and materials for both students and faculty.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory. Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is essential, with significant professional experience in both languages. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required. Candidates must hold a valid EU work permit. International experience is highly desirable. Strong project management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service abilities, resilience under pressure, and a high degree of accountability. Experience in environments with multiple stakeholders, along with exceptional communication skills and a strong customer focus, is crucial. Background in global management education or experience with business schools is advantageous.
