Business Development Manager for Essential Oils in Spain

At Sensient Technologies Corporation, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join our team. Based in Barcelona, this exciting role offers unlimited earning potential and the opportunity to work with top-shelf, value-added Essential Oils portfolio.

About the Job:

This office-based position involves maintaining and growing relationships with customers in assigned accounts and new clients in Spain. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our commercial team, responsible for developing and delivering sales targets and activities in your territory. You will report regularly on forecasts, business variations, wins and losses, key visits and activities, project pipeline, and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver sales strategies to achieve targets and growth in assigned customer accounts and new clients in Spain
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and onboard new ones
  • Travel regularly across your territory and other EU countries to visit clients and trade shows
Requirements:
  • Proficient level of English and Spanish
  • Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally fragrances, extracts, ingredients for personal/home care, or other value-added products
  • Strategic approach to prospecting, developing business, and winning new accounts
  • Drive and passion to win, with high self-discipline and motivation
