About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering sales targets and activities in your territory to clients in F&F (flavor & fragrance houses), personal care (oral care, skin care, rinse off), home care, and aromatherapy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow relationships with customers to pursue profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts and new clients in Spain.
- Develop and deliver sales targets and activities in your territory to clients in F&F, personal care, home care, and aromatherapy.
- Report regularly on forecasts, business variations, wins and losses, key visits and activities, project pipeline, market intelligence, etc.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proficient level of English and Spanish.
- Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally fragrances, extracts, ingredients for personal/home care, or other value-added products.
- A strategic approach to prospecting, developing business, and winning new accounts along with the drive and passion to win.
- The ability to work both autonomously as well as with a team, requiring a high level of self-discipline and motivation.
- The ability to travel regularly across your territory and other EU countries to visit clients and trade shows.
