Business Development Manager for Amazon Shipping Services

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Spain and be part of launching a new business from scratch. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing your own strong pipeline, detecting opportunities in the industry, qualifying leads, building tailor-made pricing proposals, negotiating with external companies, and closing sales. This role requires a highly driven, analytical, entrepreneurial, and customer-obsessed individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and have owned the full cycle from prospecting and cold calling to closing and growing new accounts. They will excel at establishing top-level relationships with customers, assessing their needs, and finding solutions that meet those needs. In addition, they will be a self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer relationship management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with potential future strategic customers who do not know Amazon Shipping yet.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working with Operations, Product, and Tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the customer's needs.
- Dive deep: Measuring performance, identifying gaps and opportunities, and leading the wider team to address them.
- Business development: Bringing new customers to Amazon, acquiring new volume of shipping packages, ensuring good conversion rate, and doing it with profitability in mind.
- A proven track record in sales with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a chance to be part of a innovative and growing company. The role will be based in Madrid with moderate travel within Spain (max. 15-20%).
