Role Overview

DataForce is currently seeking a Project Management Specialist to enhance our dynamic team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary

The Project Management Specialist collaborates closely with team members to execute projects in alignment with established plans. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to grasp project needs, leveraging project management expertise and technical acumen to allocate tasks, facilitate problem resolution, and assist managers in daily departmental operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily execution of project plans, timelines, and budgets, organizing and leading stakeholder meetings to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage the daily activities of projects, including data assignments and Quality Assurance, ensuring the smooth progression of the data life cycle.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to implement and execute project strategies, focusing on timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to maintain project quality and accuracy.
  • Serve as the liaison between contributors and the payments team to address any payment-related issues.
  • Coordinate with various teams and departments, such as Sourcing, Payments, IT, and Operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with team members, contributors, and independent contractors.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment through prioritization.
  • Ensure adherence to project frameworks and maintain comprehensive documentation for each project.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey important project updates.
  • Proficient in utilizing systems and tools for planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Strong resource planning abilities for effective and strategic resource allocation.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with all stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on analysis and creative solutions for challenges that arise.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess situations and implement solutions.
  • Proficient in business applications and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • A sense of urgency and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Business English.
  • Experience in Project Coordination.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with PMI/PMP international project management standards.
  • Knowledge of the AI industry.
  • Experience in supporting Machine Learning data annotation services, data collection, transcription, and staffing.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with crowd workers or community engagement.
  • Experience in a multinational or multicultural virtual work environment.
  • Experience in a cross-functional or matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in a language other than English.
