Role Overview

DataForce is seeking a dedicated Project Management Specialist to enhance our dynamic team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary

The Project Management Specialist collaborates closely with team members to execute projects in alignment with established plans. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to comprehend project needs, leveraging project management expertise and technical skills to allocate tasks, assist in problem resolution, and support managers in daily departmental operations and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets, facilitating stakeholder meetings, and ensuring timely project completion
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from data assignments to quality assurance, ensuring efficient data management
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to implement project strategies, focusing on timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to maintain project quality and accuracy
  • Serve as the liaison between contributors and the payments team regarding any payment-related issues
  • Communicate effectively with various teams and departments, including Sourcing, Payments, IT, and Operations, to ensure project continuity
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with team members, contributors, and independent contractors
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment through effective prioritization
  • Ensure adherence to project frameworks and maintain comprehensive documentation for each project
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager/supervisor

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey critical project updates
  • Proficient in utilizing systems and tools for planning, organizing, and prioritizing to ensure successful project completion
  • Resource management skills for effective and strategic allocation of resources
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to engage with all stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills to analyze situations and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills for effective situation assessment and solution implementation
  • Proficiency in business applications and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in Business English
  • Experience in Project Coordination

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with PMI/PMP international project management standards
  • Knowledge of the AI industry
  • Experience in supporting Machine Learning data annotation services and related tasks
  • Background in working with support ticketing systems
  • Experience with crowd workers/community engagement
  • Experience in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environment
  • Experience in a cross-functional/matrix organization
  • Proficiency in a language other than English
