Role Overview

DataForce is seeking a dedicated Project Management Specialist to enhance our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary

The Project Management Specialist will collaborate closely with their supervisor to implement various initiatives in alignment with project objectives. They will engage with multiple stakeholders to grasp all project needs, leveraging their project management expertise and technical skills to allocate tasks, assist in resolving challenges, and support managers in daily departmental functions. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of data annotation, collection, transcription, and staffing projects, ensuring smooth execution throughout.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be tasked with managing project timelines, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets; facilitating stakeholder meetings; and ensuring that project milestones are achieved efficiently.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervising daily project operations, from data assignments to quality assurance, managing the data lifecycle effectively.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to develop and execute Project Plans, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Identifying potential risks and ensuring project integrity and precision.
  • Acting as the liaison between contributors and the Payments team regarding any financial matters.
  • Coordinating with various teams and departments, such as Recruitment, Payments, IT, and Operations, to guarantee the efficient progression of each project.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with team members, contributors, and independent contractors.
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment with effective prioritization.
  • Ensuring compliance with project frameworks and maintaining proper documentation for each initiative.

Required Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Exceptional communication skills – ability to convey critical project updates both verbally and in writing.
  • Resource management skills – effective and strategic allocation of resources.
  • Organizational skills – capability to perform under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills – ability to engage with all stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities – capacity to devise creative solutions for emerging issues.
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking – ability to assess situations, plan, and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency in business applications and collaboration tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with planning, organization, and prioritization tools to ensure successful project completion.
  • Knowledge of file management and administrative procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Coordination (industry experience is advantageous).
  • Understanding of PMI/PMP international project management standards.
  • Knowledge of the AI industry.
  • Experience in supporting Machine Learning data annotation services, data collection, transcription, and staffing projects.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with crowd workers/community.
  • Experience in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environment.
  • Experience in a cross-functional/matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with various Image Annotation platforms.
  • Understanding of Image Annotation techniques.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
