DataForce is seeking a Project Management Specialist to become an integral part of our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary

The Project Management Specialist will collaborate closely with their supervisor to implement various projects according to established plans. This role requires interaction with multiple stakeholders to grasp all project needs, leveraging project management expertise and technical skills to allocate tasks, assist in problem resolution, and support daily departmental operations. The Specialist will oversee the entire lifecycle of data annotation, collection, transcription, and staffing projects, ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be accountable for managing project plans, timelines, labor hours, and budget allocations; organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings; and ensuring timely project completion.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervising daily project operations, from data assignments to quality assurance, managing the data lifecycle effectively.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to execute Project Plans, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Identifying potential risks and ensuring project quality and precision.
  • Acting as the liaison between contributors and the Payments team regarding any payment-related issues.
  • Coordinating with various teams and departments, such as Recruitment, Payments, IT, and Operations, to facilitate smooth project operations.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with team members, contributors, and independent contractors.
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment with effective prioritization.
  • Ensuring adherence to project frameworks and maintaining proper documentation for each project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Exceptional communication abilities – capable of conveying significant project updates both verbally and in writing.

  • Organizational skills – able to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with planning, organization, and prioritization tools to ensure successful project completion.
  • Knowledge of file management and administrative procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Coordination (industry experience is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with PMI/PMP international project management standards.
  • Knowledge of the AI industry.
  • Experience in supporting Machine Learning data annotation services, data collection, transcription, and staffing projects.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with crowd workers/community.
  • Experience in a multinational/multicultural virtual work environment.
  • Experience in a cross-functional/matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with various Image Annotation platforms.
  • Understanding of Image Annotation techniques.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
