DataForce is seeking a dedicated Project Management Specialist to enhance our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Role Summary

The Project Management Specialist will collaborate closely with their supervisor to implement various projects in alignment with established plans. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to ascertain project requirements, leveraging project management expertise and technical skills to delegate tasks, assist in problem resolution, and support daily departmental operations. The Specialist will oversee the entire lifecycle of data-related projects, including annotation, collection, transcription, and staffing, ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will be tasked with managing project timelines, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets; organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings; and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervising daily project operations, from data assignments to quality assurance, while managing the data lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Identifying potential risks and implementing measures to ensure project quality and precision.
  • Serving as the liaison between contributors and the Payments team regarding any payment-related issues.
  • Coordinating with various teams and departments, such as Recruitment, Payments, IT, and Operations, to facilitate project success.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with team members, contributors, and independent contractors.
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment with effective prioritization.
  • Ensuring adherence to project frameworks and maintaining comprehensive documentation for each initiative.

Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Professional fluency in English.

Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with planning, organization, and prioritization tools to ensure successful project completion.
  • Knowledge of file management and administrative procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Coordination (industry experience is advantageous).
  • Understanding of PMI/PMP international project management standards.
  • Knowledge of the AI industry.
  • Experience in supporting Machine Learning data annotation services, data collection, transcription, and staffing projects.
  • Experience with support ticketing systems.
  • Experience working with crowd workers/community.
  • Experience in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environment.
  • Experience in a cross-functional/matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with various Image Annotation platforms.
  • Knowledge of Image Annotation techniques.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
