Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to serve the Madrid Region. Our mission is to equip healthcare professionals with state-of-the-art infection prevention solutions that boost efficiency, enhance outcomes, and mitigate the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections. This role involves engaging with diverse clinical environments, including operating rooms, interventional radiology, ultrasound, cardiac catheterization labs, and ambulatory surgical centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce innovative product offerings to current clients while prospecting for new business through cold calling and networking
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, fostering relationships through professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate with clients to implement best practices aimed at combating hospital-acquired infections
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, educating clients on improving patient outcomes while serving as an Infection Prevention Specialist
  • Demonstrate product applications within client facilities
  • Oversee the complete management of public tenders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior Business to Business (B2B) sales experience, including public tenders
  • Experience in total value delivery selling
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and consultative selling
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required
  • 80% of customer interactions involve travel
  • Fluency in English and native proficiency in Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success as a high-performing sales professional, preferably in healthcare or medical sales
  • Strong customer service skills with a knack for problem-solving and crafting customer solutions
  • Self-driven with effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to identify target accounts and achieve results through strategic planning
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or Biology
  • Experience with consumable products

Territory Information:

  • This position is based in Madrid
  • The territory encompasses the Community of Madrid and Castilla La Mancha - Castilla León
  • Travel is required for 80% of the role
