EMEA Electrophysiology Customer Education Coordinator (m/f/d)
Objective
At Boston Scientific, we prioritize the development and execution of high-quality educational initiatives for both our staff and healthcare professionals.
The Electrophysiology (EP) sector is a vital component of our Rhythm Management division, where training and education for both employees and healthcare providers play a crucial role in fostering technology adoption and ensuring patient safety.
The primary focus of this position is to strategize, design, and implement in-house training programs centered around 3D Mapping and FARAVIEW technologies for our field support teams and clientele. This includes gathering necessary information to create training programs, preparing educational materials, developing course content, determining instructional methods, and coordinating the creation of training resources. The role also involves conducting training sessions and establishing criteria to assess the effectiveness of these educational activities. Continuous updates to lesson plans will be essential to accommodate new training needs and to ensure the technical content remains current.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee internal and customer education initiatives by implementing strategies, achieving objectives, and managing logistics while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Identify the most effective delivery methods for each learner and curriculum, creating blended learning programs that fulfill educational goals. Design blended programs incorporating a suitable mix of remote, face-to-face, and e-learning formats. Collaborate on enhancing our digital platforms and Learning Management System, identifying requirements and leveraging these tools across various curricula. Design, develop, and monitor e-learning programs that complement blended learning paths, ensuring adherence to best practices and insights across the Medical Education Team. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key customers, both internal and external, acting as a liaison between educational opinion leaders and Boston Scientific initiatives. Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and foster strong networking within the organization. Identify, collaborate with, and manage suitable resources (e.g., vendor partnerships, internal departments) to ensure that meetings and events achieve their objectives. Establish, monitor, and manage budgets while implementing cost-saving strategies, understanding the implications for overall business management. Develop program metrics aligned with the educational objectives set for each initiative and curriculum. Assess program effectiveness, reevaluate objectives and outcomes, and strategize for ongoing enhancement. Stay informed about industry standards and trends relevant to this role, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Create a professional development plan in collaboration with your direct supervisor. Ensure awareness and adherence to applicable standard operating procedures to meet and uphold all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific. Utilize tools and programs across the organization effectively. Maintain consistency with Boston Scientific branding guidelines.Profile Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Medical Education, Customer Programs, or Field Support. Expertise in EP, 3D Mapping, PFA, and Single Shot field support is essential for this role (minimum 3 years). A background in Training and Medical Education is highly valued (2 years). Experience in developing e-learning programs and digital content is a significant advantage. A university degree or equivalent is required, with substantial knowledge in Rhythm Management and EP (disease, product, clinical). A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach are essential. Ability to generate and advocate for innovative ideas and methodologies. Strong customer focus, addressing the needs of both internal and external clients. Excellent organizational and planning skills. A problem-solving orientation with a keen attention to detail. High integrity, adaptability, and agility are crucial. Capability to perform under pressure while managing multiple priorities. Strong didactic, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus. Willingness to travel approximately 30%.Our Offer
