EMEA Electrophysiology Customer Education Coordinator (m/f/d)
Objective
At Boston Scientific, we are devoted to the creation and leadership of high-caliber educational initiatives for both our team members and healthcare professionals.
The Electrophysiology (EP) division is a rapidly expanding segment within our Rhythm Management department, where training and education for both staff and healthcare providers are crucial for promoting technology adoption and ensuring patient safety.
The primary aim of this position is to strategize, design, and implement training programs focused on 3D Mapping and FARAVIEW technologies for our field personnel and clients. This involves gathering necessary information to develop in-house training programs, creating educational materials, formulating course content, determining instructional methods, and overseeing the creation of training resources. The role also includes conducting training sessions and establishing criteria to assess the effectiveness of educational activities. Continuous updates to lesson plans are essential to adapt to new training needs and maintain current technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee internal and customer education initiatives by executing strategies, achieving objectives, and managing logistics while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Identify the most effective delivery methods for various learners and curricula, creating blended learning programs that fulfill educational goals. Collaborate on enhancing our digital platforms and Learning Management System, identifying requirements and utilizing these tools across different curricula. Design, develop, and monitor e-learning programs that complement blended learning approaches, ensuring the application of best practices across the Medical Education Team. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, acting as a liaison between educational leaders and Boston Scientific initiatives. Proactively communicate with stakeholders and establish a strong network within the organization. Identify and manage appropriate resources (e.g., vendor partnerships, internal departments) to ensure that events and meetings achieve their objectives. Define, monitor, and manage budgets while implementing cost-saving strategies, understanding their implications for overall business management. Develop program metrics aligned with the educational objectives set for each initiative and curriculum. Assess program impact, review objectives and outcomes, and plan for ongoing enhancements. Stay informed about industry standards and trends relevant to this role, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Create a professional development plan in collaboration with your direct supervisor. Ensure adherence to applicable standard operating procedures to meet and uphold all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific. Leverage organizational tools and programs effectively. Maintain consistency with Boston Scientific branding guidelines.Profile Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Medical Education, Customer Programs, or Field Support. Expertise in EP, 3D Mapping, PFA, and Single Shot field support is essential (minimum 3 years). A background in Training and Medical Education is highly valued (2 years). Experience in developing e-learning programs and digital content is advantageous. A university degree or equivalent is required, with solid knowledge in Rhythm Management and EP (disease, product, clinical). A collaborative team player with a focus on fostering teamwork across the organization. Ability to generate and advocate for innovative ideas and approaches. Strong customer orientation, catering to both internal and external clients. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. High integrity, adaptability, and agility. Capability to work under pressure with multiple priorities, focusing on essential tasks. Strong didactic, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus. Willingness to travel approximately 30%.Our Offer
