EMEA Electrophysiology Customer Education Coordinator (m/f/d)
Objective
At Boston Scientific, we are devoted to developing and leading high-quality educational initiatives for both our staff and healthcare professionals.
The Electrophysiology (EP) division is a vital segment of our Rhythm Management department, where effective training and education for our team and healthcare providers are essential for promoting technology adoption and ensuring patient safety.
The primary aim of this position is to strategize, design, implement, and oversee in-house training programs focused on 3D Mapping and FARAVIEW technologies for field personnel and clients. This role involves gathering necessary information to create training programs, preparing educational materials, developing course content, determining instructional methods, and coordinating the creation of training aids. You will also conduct training sessions and establish criteria to assess the effectiveness of these educational activities. Continuous updates to lesson plans will be required to align with new training needs and to ensure that technical information remains current.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee internal and customer education initiatives by executing strategies, achieving objectives, and managing logistics while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Identify the most effective delivery methods for each learner and curriculum, creating blended learning programs that fulfill educational goals. Design blended programs incorporating a suitable mix of remote, face-to-face, and e-learning delivery. Collaborate on enhancing our digital platforms and Learning Management System, defining requirements and utilizing these platforms across various curricula. Design, develop, and monitor e-learning programs to complement blended curricula, ensuring the application of best practices and insights across the Medical Education Team. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external, acting as a liaison between influential educational leaders and Boston Scientific initiatives. Proactively communicate with stakeholders and establish robust networks within the organization. Identify, partner with, and manage suitable resources (e.g., vendor relationships, other internal departments) to ensure that meetings and events meet their objectives. Define, monitor, and manage budgets while implementing cost-saving measures, understanding the implications for overall business management. Develop program metrics aligned with the educational objectives set for each program and curriculum. Assess program impact, reevaluate objectives and outcomes, and plan for ongoing improvements. Stay informed about industry standards and trends relevant to your responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Create a professional development plan in collaboration with your direct supervisor. Ensure awareness and adherence to applicable standard operating procedures to meet and uphold all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific. Leverage tools and programs across the organization. Maintain consistency with Boston Scientific branding guidelines.Profile Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Medical Education, Customer Programs, or Field Support. Expertise in EP, 3D Mapping, PFA, and Single Shot field support is essential for this role (minimum 3 years). A background in Training and Medical Education will be highly regarded (2 years). Experience in developing e-learning programs and digital content is highly valued. A university degree or equivalent is required, with solid expertise in Rhythm Management and EP (disease, product, clinical). A collaborative team player with a strong focus on customer service, both internal and external. Ability to generate and advocate for innovative ideas and approaches. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving orientation and attention to detail. High integrity, adaptability, and agility. Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple priorities and to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong didactic, presentation, and communication skills. Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language is a plus. Willingness to travel approximately 30%.Our Offer
