Role Summary:
We are seeking an Accommodation Sales Specialist for the Portuguese Market to become a vital member of our Accommodation team. This role is based in Barcelona and reports directly to the Head of Sales. You will play a crucial role in assisting the Lodging team to expand and enhance its supplier portfolio of online accommodations by successfully contracting targeted hotels in key markets.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Accommodation Sales Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting outreach and persuading accommodation providers to join the Odigeo Connect Platform through various communication channels.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for your assigned lodging portfolio until contracts are finalized.
  • Collecting market insights and customer data to maintain an organized database within our Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Fostering positive relationships with lodging providers.
  • Communicating Odigeo's requirements and values, instilling enthusiasm and confidence in our partners.
  • Monitoring your sales performance with the aim of meeting or exceeding established targets.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with the confidence to influence through phone and email.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry or online travel agencies is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Business acumen and commercial insight.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with productivity tools such as MS Office and Salesforce.
