About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our sales team. As a Sales Development Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Prospecting and outreach activities on target accounts with a focus on engaging and qualifying prospective customers.
- Generating new business opportunities to fuel revenue for Ecovadis.
- Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives in Target Accounts.
- Scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives.
- Evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies.
- Leveraging teammates (Marketing and Account Executives) to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging.
- Maintaining an activity volume with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth.
- Meeting or exceeding your target.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competition.
- Creating quarterly business plans, reporting, and presenting to key stakeholders.
- Recording and documenting all calls and communications in Salesforce.
- Monitoring social networks for sales opportunities and leads.
- Reporting on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Business or Sustainability related areas.
- Experience working in Sustainability, CSR, or B2B Procurement is a plus.
- Native in French and proficiency in English is required; Portuguese is a plus.
- Knowledge of the French corporate business culture.
- Passionate about Sustainability and willing to pursue a career in both Sustainability and Sales.
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Superior communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work well in an international team environment in a fast-growing business.
