Business Development Representative - German-speaking

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through outbound sales efforts, promoting Google Cloud solutions across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas and maintain daily and weekly activity targets.
  • Educate prospective customers on Google Cloud solutions and align them with business needs.
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails, establish rapport, and qualify leads.
  • Document customer interactions in CRM to ensure clarity and continuity in the sales process.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve key performance indicators and sales objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native proficiency in German and fluency in English.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales or business development, ideally within the IT sector.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, particularly Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a quota-driven, phone-based environment.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in IT outbound sales, including cold calling and managing a portfolio of accounts.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and competitive mindset.
  • Understanding of local business environments and market dynamics.
