About the Role
The Business Development Associate is a key position in our sales team, responsible for supporting the Sales Managers and/or Sales Director in achieving quarterly and annual sales targets within the Southern Europe Sales Territory. This role involves both internal and external responsibilities, with a strong focus on managing customer relationships. As an introductory role to Sales, it requires travel and offers opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team in reaching regional goals and preparing and closing sales in accordance with agreed objectives, frameworks, and strategies.
- Review sales orders for new machines, parts, conversions, or participation, ensuring all information is accurate and complete for internal processing.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and distributors to address all day-to-day issues and provide ongoing support.
- Accurately report specific sales forecasting and submit all sales reports as assigned within established timelines.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes and business proposals with the support and guidance of the sales team.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a Sales-related role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Technical knowledge sufficient to demonstrate the company's products to customers and respond effectively to their queries.
- Strong interpersonal and social skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Creative, innovative, analytical, forward-thinking skills.
- Project leadership and team participation skills.
- Professional image and appearance.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-motivated.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
