Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within designated territories. This involves effectively managing, building, and developing a pipeline of sales prospects to achieve predetermined billing goals.

To accomplish this, Territory Sales Representatives will leverage qualified leads generated by the Sales Development organization, as well as engage in targeted outbound lead generation from prospect and customer lists. This fast-paced and innovative environment at Autodesk provides the tools, resources, and exceptional leadership necessary to excel in selling market-leading design software.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritize high-potential target accounts within a defined territory to maximize sales potential
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives to ensure seamless follow-up on sales leads and timely conversion into opportunities
  • Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within assigned sales territories
  • Rapidly identify key decision-makers and influencers along with their corresponding business needs, timeline, and budget
  • Evaluate prospect and customers' needs by articulating how Autodesk solutions can accelerate their business
  • Utilize telephone, email, and web-based communication as primary means of connecting with customers
  • Manage in-person sales meetings with decision-makers to close significant deals
  • Leverage field-based Territory Sales Executives as needed to drive sales performance improvement
  • Develop and foster relationships with channel partners to enhance all territory performance and exceed customer expectations
  • Build the appropriate team for each opportunity, coordinating Autodesk personnel including presales, consultants, and services to deliver value to the client base
  • Provide accurate and timely billings forecasting and updates to sales managers
  • Maintain consistent meeting or exceeding of monthly sales targets/quotas

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exemplary professionalism with above-average organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills for online presentations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles
  • Proven ability to collaborate with virtual team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Drive to continually improve sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's sales career progression framework
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and any Nordic language

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
