The Agoda Beds Network team is a new department within Agoda, focusing on improving supply quality and inventory. As key partners for our success, we work closely with accommodation providers to ensure their prosperity. We specialize in strategic account management, serving as consultants and thought partners to offer advice on how to excel on Agoda's commercial platforms through innovative solutions. With industry-leading technology, we collaborate globally to bring together diverse perspectives and strive to provide the best value for our partners, customers, and Agoda.

The Opportunity :
A Business Development Manager will support the expansion of Agoda's network of hotel partnerships and accommodation inventory supply by building, establishing, and maintaining account relationships. This role leverages experience in procurement, e-commerce, revenue management, and the hotel/travel/hospitality industry to manage Agoda's hotel market and partnership-related functions.

In this Role, you'll get to:
1. Identify, pitch, and build new supplier relationships for Agoda focusing on the bed bank and wholesale markets;
2. Introduce and explain the strategic benefits of the new department;
3. Grow bookings, revenues, and gross profit in assigned portfolios;
4. Suggest business solutions based on data to maximize Agoda's accommodation availability, content competitiveness, and business growth for hotel partners;
5. Evaluate existing partnerships and determine actions to optimize performance;
6. Identify, prioritize, negotiate, contract, and onboard non-participatory hotels ensuring favorable terms and conditions;
7. Formulate project ideas, determine where opportunity exists, and implement new approaches;
8. Work in a data-driven environment;
9. Research and troubleshoot rate and availability issues preventing hotels from maximizing booking performance; E.G., problems with connectivity, rate mapping, extranet management, etc.;
10. Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges;
11. Prepare presentations and materials;
12. Manage regular weekly/monthly supplier and internal reports.

You'll be working towards a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any relevant field.
