We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to lead our Front Office operations as a Guest Services Manager. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Poblenou, The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels that strive to provide a unique experience for our guests. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day hotel operations and maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Job Description

You will be responsible for leading day-to-day hotel operations, supporting the Front Office Manager, and mentoring receptionists to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • SUPPORTING FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS: Ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes, manage overbooking levels, and maintain lobby presence
  • LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT: Lead by example, motivate and empower team members, and contribute to their growth and development
  • OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with the Director of Operations and General Manager to implement changes in health and safety procedures
  • MANAGING ON DUTY: Act as Manager on Duty, resolving issues, and finding solutions to ensure a smooth operation
Requirements
  • Fluent Spanish and English; Catalan highly valued
  • Hotel or leisure-related experience as Duty Manager or similar role
  • Familiarity with Opera cloud or similar front desk operating systems and understanding of GDS
