Front Office Manager

We are looking for a Front Office Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Barcelona - Sant Cugat.
About the Role:
The Front Office Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the front office, including guest registration, porter services, business centre, telephone services, concierge services and guest reservations. This is a key role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience during their stay with us.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the front office, including guest registration, porter services, business centre, telephone services, concierge services and guest reservations.
- Perform a review of the collections at the end of the day against the client's billing.
- Investigate any accounting discrepancies.
- Manage reports at the end of the day, ensuring the accuracy and possible correctness of all charges for the day (breakfast, room service, any extras) and fixed charges scheduled for the next day (taxes, garage, accommodation, additional sale of breakfast).
- Investigate anomalies found between daily reports, control charges cancellations.
- Review of all reservations entered on the day and arrivals of the next day.
- Supervision and analysis of agency commissions with payment errors.
Requirements:
- Customer service attitude.
- Proven work experience as a night manager.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Ability to handle stress and stay calm under pressure.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from €25,000 to €35,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including paid holidays, meal vouchers and access to training and development opportunities.
