The Strategic Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth in assigned accounts to meet or exceed financial and performance objectives.

This role involves building strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

The position reports to a Territory Hub Sales Manager and collaborates with a sales team to develop and execute account plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new and expansion business within strategic territory accounts, focusing on solid business value for customers and Autodesk.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with other Autodesk sales teams and channel partners to grow the business relationship with assigned customers.
  • Work closely with channel partners, technical sales, customer success, and marketing to develop and execute account plans for high-priority accounts.
  • Evaluate customer profiles, create value messaging, and target key steps needed to execute account plans.
  • Foster important and effective relationships within the account, including key decision-makers, and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value.
  • Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts of business and collaborate with customer success teams on appropriate and complementary sales motions for renewal business within assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within targeted accounts, either with or on behalf of channel partners.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with sales processes and certain selling methodologies, such as TAS, Value Selling, and Solution Selling.
  • Fluent English and familiarity with sales logging applications, such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times.
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results-oriented.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Database management a plus.
